Reasons to Get Into Golf

  • Instills great values which stay with you for life...

Golf is a game of self-discipline, where rules are self-officiated, and honesty and integrity are expected of those who play it.

A game of skill and ingenuity where problem solving and strategy skills are learned in abundance. But above all it’s a game for Gentlemen and Women where sportsmanship rules above everything.

A sport with unlimited fun and endless opportunities where valuable lessons are learned and skills instilled that stay with you for the rest of your life.

  • Outdoor, Active and Healthy...

Golf is a game where players of all levels of fitness and abilities come together with a common goal…
    Enjoyment and fun.

An outdoor activity where fresh air is in abundance and a huge contributor to a healthy active lifestyle. The average 18 hole course spans 4-5 miles and circa 1500 calories are burned when carrying your golf bag. Players of all levels of fitness can enjoy as it is a steady walk with plenty of stops along the way.

The Golf swing is also one of the very few athletic movements where all the major muscle groups are given a workout.

  • A game for all the family that anyone can play...

One of the very few sports that can be enjoyed by all the family at the same time where young an old can compete equally. A game that can be played just as well whether you are tall, short, slim, strong, or anything in between.

The CONGU handicap system allows players of differing abilities and experience to play together on a level playing field.

  • It's FUN and a great way to meet new people...

Above everything else Golf is FUN.

Not every shot is perfect, not everything goes the way you want but that is what makes Golf addictive and instills the drive to improve yourself.

Spending several hours on a golf course with new people is a great way to make new friends and learn the dying art of conversation. There are no mobile phones, no texting, no emailing or Whatsapp, just pure and simple old fashioned talking.
