Situated in rural East Anglia, St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club boasts a brand new inland links style course, designed by renowned golf course architect Cameron Sinclair. Built on a 230-acre site at Giffords Farm, Needingworth, the 18 hole course is a first class facility which provides a stern test for golfers of all ages and abilities.
The course features USGA specification greens, one of the first courses in the country to do so, using ‘velvet bent’ grass on the greens to ensure they mature fast and true. The fairways are fully drained and irrigated and have been sand-capped with 40mm of sand to give a links-like ‘feel’.
