Outstanding Practice Facilities

Whether you’re just starting out, want to improve your game, or simply don’t have the time to play a full round, why not take advantage of the exceptional practice facilities at St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club.

Our practice facilities include 3 separate areas to work on either your long game, short game, or putting. For those wishing to work on their long game our 370-yard long driving range is the ideal venue to try the game for the first time, warm up before your round, or to hone your swing. Our range comprises 4 covered bays, 6 outside bays and also has a fully equipped Professional Teaching Bay for both the Paul Ashwell Golf Academy and our Club PGA Coach. Our Range is also home to the Titleist National Fitting Centre and is floodlit until 9pm, 7 days per week.

The short game is not overlooked either, with further practice facilities situated between the clubhouse and the first tee. These consist of: a putting green, constructed to mirror the fine surface found on the course right up to USGA specification; a chipping green with two revetted-faced bunkers, designed to offer practice of a variety of bunker shots, including longer, fairway bunker shots; and a short game area with target greens providing a perfect area for that vital 100 yards practice making the difference to your scores when it comes to competition.
