Josh's Double - Most of us golfers dream about achieving a Hole-in-One once in our lifetime. Not so our Junior Captain Josh Stimson who achieved the feat twice in 11 weeks.
His first Ace occurred during a club competition on August 6th at the 3rd hole. Fast forward to the 22nd October when he repeated the feat at the same hole, using the same club (6 Iron) during a Club Match against Cambridge University. To rub salt into the wound his opponent in the match birdied the hole and still lost it!
These two feats have certainly had a positive effect on our Bar takings but a negative one on his father's credit card!
Well done Josh.
New Course Record (2) - On 15th October James Reeson set a new course record coming home with a 66. The feat was achieved in a supplementary round with Josh John and Mark Priestley and included 1 bogey and 7 birdies!
Well done James.
New course record - James Reeson set a new course record with a gross 67, including an eagle at the par 5 11th, during the Mid-month medal on 17th August 2011.
